The Foundation and Endowment Fund Provide Stability

The purpose of the Carlton County Historical Society Foundation is to provide long term support for the mission and activities of the Historical Society. Since its inception 20 years ago the foundation has provided funding for more than $180,000 in capital improvements and established permanent endowment funds with current values in excess of $190,000.

Our goal is to increase permanent endowment funding by $400,000 in order to ensure and enhance the society's work in the community over the long term.

What are the needs of the Foundation?

Tax deductible contributions are needed to build the endowment fund for the ongoing support of the work of the Carlton County Historical Society.

Capital funds are needed to help preserve the historic Carlton County History & Heritage Center with its archives and artifact collections and to make the Center an exciting and educational resource through permanent and changing exhibits, the research library, and outreach activities and programming.

Giving Levels

Gifts can be made in their entirety or pledged over a period of up to five years. The CCHS Foundation maintains a legacy circle for those wishing to make bequests. Consult your financial adviser to learn how you can make a gift and gain tax advantages.
