Storytelling
We recently came across a box of interviews that were transcribed by Cloquet students from cassette tapes in the 1970's. Some interviews were done by the students and others were transcribed from radio recordings.
The people interviewed lived through the early years of Carlton County, the 1918 fire, the Great Depression, and WWII. We have condensed and organized their words into these categories in order to provide the opportunity to learn about these subjects from first-hand accounts. The full interviews will be linked by each condensed version.
